Username Post: Count of new topic and replies not showing

New user of FusionBB as of last week (migrated from UBBthreads). This is a random issue and I'm polling users to collect data on the problem.

On the main forum page, many users only see that there are new topics or replies in a forum via the indicator on the left side of the page. They are not seeing the exact count of how many new topics or how many new replies there are. I thought it might be browser related, but with the replies I've received so far, I'm not seeing a pattern.


Any ideas as to what might be causing the discrepancy?

OK, it just hit me as I looked at the list of who could see them and who couldn't. It's the Admins that can see them. The users can't. Duh.

Does anyone know where the permission for that option is located? Off to search now...

OK... most things take me a half hour to find. This one, I found in 10 seconds.

Nothing like a little embarrassment on a Wednesday afternoon.

Aye - the Admin Panel is quite straight forward compared to some I've seen.
