I have a cron job with a lock next to it (publish birthdays), and it's stuck on "pending." What does this mean and how can I fix it? The other cron jobs are running fine. Thanks!

Have you tried deleting it and adding it back in?

Interesting, no -- thanks, Greg. So... I did that, and as it comes back in, it still has the lock. I run the cron job (manually), and it still shows pending. Any other thoughts? Thanks again very much.

Ok, I have had luck doing that at my site before. I'll have to think on this a bit. Hopefully Josh will check in soon as he probably knows exactly what is happening.

Usually that means that it's busy being run - but if it stays stuck, the following SQL Query should unstick it: Code:

Thanks, Josh, thanks again, Greg. I ran that query, ran the publish birthday cron. It said it ran, but still has a lock and still says pending. I'm going to assume it's working and just leave it, unless you think that's a mistake. Thanks again, Laree
