Username Post: Hover feature only working on *some* topics....

This is a weird one. We just imported our forum from vbulletin to fusion. So far, it's going pretty smooth (except for a portion of users who are mad that we moved buttons and featured etc. lol).

Anyway, after the installation, none of the imported topics can be seen with the javascript hover preview... all topics started AFTER the import work just fine, but not the ones from previous. Any ideas why this might be? I'd love to get it resolved for our users.

ok... found it. Each topic has a topic_preview field. This must get created when the topic gets created. This was not created with the import. Not a big deal, but if anyone is curious, for future reference, that's what is going on.

Sounds like an interesting feature but not one I've seen on my pre-import test forum. Where do you hover to see the preview? If it's permission based where do you switch it on?

It's an option in the user's control panel under display settings "Show Topic Previews". Shows up when you mouse over a topic in the topic list.
