I haven't been able to keep up with upgrade pricing as of late due to family obligations. I moved to Indianapolis, Indiana a couple months ago and I'm getting married June 23rd to a fellow blind lady I was set up with over facebook originally.
which brings me to my suggestion
most of my circle of friends these days are from facebook or google+ social sites, and I hear suggestions from them saying "do I really have to sign up for yet another account? with another password I'll forget". I know there's password programs out there, but facebook is becoming quite popular these days
my suggestion is some kind of integration addon, even if its just optional, with the openID system popular with wordpress and the blogging community. I haven't had much success with DISCUS the most popular one, but they have API's for that over at facebook, which essentially uses your facebook credentials to create an account here. I know its a small thing, but you'd be surprised how many potential users you loose just because certain customers don't want to sign up for yet another account, especially if its a site they don't trust. I know my family is like that for instance. they don't trust giving their personal info to anyone half of them don't even understand the difference between public and private messaging, but they trust facebook only because their other family members say they should. I am seeing more and more of that lately.
