I don't know what is causing my problem, but I cannot post html embedded code from any source. I do have a custom bbcode for YouTube so if I use that, I can post youtube vids, but if I use the embed code with HTML selected, I get nothing.

Same goes for vimeo, flickr slideshows, and other embeddable content.

Any idea what is wrong?

Are you selecting - 'Use HTML' rather than the default 'Use Markup' when making the post?

I think my 'problem' was that my flash player was borked which made me think I couldn't embed. sorry for raising red flags! all is good.
