My buddy's running v2.2 and has problems of users getting randomly logged out. The issue can happen anytime and here's the kicker... it only happens with Firefox and is not FF version dependent. It's not anything in FF's settings and it's not a firewall, antivirus, or antispyware issue. We've tried everything we can think of with Firefox and have come to the conclusion it's something within Fusion. What Fusion files or settings should we check into? Thanks.

Have them clear all the cookies associated with the site. Usually this type of behavior is a cookie issue and just clearing them helps.

Greg, you mean clearing the cookies within Firefox? If so, that's already been done. Even set up a PC with fresh XP SP3 and Firefox installs.

One other thing to check - make sure nothing else on the page (like any banner ads or inserts) are doing anything to set cookies. Some browsers have limits as to the number of cookies it will accept per domain name. Thus I've seen people that have had banner ad software or such, which sets alot of cookies, and the login cookies for the forum end up getting dumped.

That sounds very feasible, JoshPet! There are a lot of ads running. We'll check into this. Thanks!

Ok, is there a specific setting I should look at? .... or do we need to reduce the # of ads going?

FWIW, I have installed the NoScript FF extension a few days ago. When I visit the site I have NoScipt blocking these from loading/working:
Psclicks.com
Google-Analyics.com
Googlesyndication.com
Amazonaws.com
Since setting up NoScript to block these I haven't been logout out yet. When these are allowed I don't know if they set cookies but I assume so. I don't know if somehow this is even related to getting logged out but I'm eyeballing it every day.

I use Google Analytics and it hasn't caused a problem on my site so I sort of doubt that's the cause. The others, though, could easily be the culprit as I'm sure they are setting cookies.
