Hi again all. Is there a feature on fusionbb that allows admins to hide their admin status and appear as regular members while still having access to the Admin Panel and retaining all admin powers?

I don't think it is advertised on who is the staff unless you are talking about the flags, then you can turn them off. You might also have to change their title but that is easy. Or is there somewhere else that you can see the admin status?

I was talking about the flag. The new owner of the site I'm at didn't have his flag on right away. When I asked him how come he didn't have the admin icon he turned it on and said he didn't want people to think he didn't have admin powers.

There's an ignore feature there as well. When he had his flag turned off the manage ignore button was there on his profile. Once he had it up the feature disappeared. It appears that even admins can be ignored so long as they don't have their flag up. Seems to serve as an ignore shield as well as a status badge.

I never realized that and I have been using this software since the first alpha version. I'll have to play with that and see exactly how it works.

Even if I turn my Admin flag off, I cannot be ignored. It sounds like someone doesn't know how to use FusionBB.
