I don't know if I'm considered new or not, but I watched it evolve over the last 4 or 5 months to see it come out as a fantastic system to manage a community AND an entire website.
RSS feeds is honestly the most surprising feature to me. I didnt' realize how valuable they would be, especially now with support for feeds in browsers and Google's new tools like the Desktop Search(sidebar) and Personalized Homepage.
Other than that, it's obvious that my community is much better off now since I switched over from UBB.Threads. The future is looking really bright for FusionBB communities
I am about 2 weeks new and I got to say that I really like what this team has done with this product. It has a clean, fresh look, and the Professional skin (which I use on my site), has just the right mix of gradient color.
It took me several days to get up to speed on where most things are from an admistrative point of view, but that is from a 'part time' user. Most important though, is the level of service and the willingness to help from the FusionBB community -- unsurpassed.
I love the product and look forward to learning more about it, as well as working with this support community.
I'm sitting here, looking over a forum package that works for me, and I'm stunned that it's a 1.0 product! With all the power, control, and performance that I have now I can't image what FusionBB will look like when it hits version 2 -but I do know it will beat any forum script in existence! Well done!!!!!!!
Five years on another product was hard to walk away from, but the staff and community at FusionBB made it seamless and easy.
Agreed, well done
I had about 4 years with the other product and yes, it was difficult to move, but I've certainly not regretted the change. Even this early in development my forums are so trouble free I bug my users with trying to find new things to put online for them.
I was just looking over my admin cp and realized it's almost a year now that the first beta was released to those of us that are on the beta team. In LESS than a year from the first beta ever, look how far this software has evolved! It's not even a year old as far as it's v1.0 release goes and it's got features that the "other" software STILL doesn't have! Imagine what it will be like next year at this time!

I'm a reasonably new FusionBB customer. I run a very busy community which demands a powerful solution. I have experience of all the major community software providers but none of them compare to this superb product.
Having a robust community solution isn't the only important factor that made me choose FusionBB. Customer support is extremely important and this was one of the main reasons for choosing FusionBB. I know that if something goes wrong, people who are - backed-up by these superb support forums - are there to help.
"Well, this is different, but nice. I see there are many, many new features. The color choices are good, Instrutions are good, the smilies seem very animated and friendly."
