FusionBB has a basic 'Welcome' PT or email that can be sent out when new members join your messageboards.


To enable sending a PT or email with the welcome message do the following:

This is located at:

AdminCP >> Configuration Settings >> General Settings >> Welcome Message Type




To CHANGE the default welcome message edit it in the language files:

language\yourdefaultlangu age\common.php


Look for:


$lang_str['WELCOME_SUB']
$lang_str['WELCOME_BODY']



Edit the text to customize the 'Welcome' to your liking, then save the file and upload it to your server.
