(Applies to all versions of FusionBB)
Adding or Editing your site inserts is easy to do!
Simply go to:
AdminCP >> Edit >> Inserts
Scroll down to the inserts you want to work with:
- Edit Header Insert
( The header appears at to top of every page, above the menu bar. If you insert the string '' it will be replaced with the /FusionBB/forum/skins/Pro fessional/logo.gif variable in your skin config file. This allows you to have a different logo to match each skin. )
- Edit Footer Insert
(The footer appears at the bottom of every page, just above the copyright notice.)
- Edit Head Tag Insert
(This file gets included between the tags of each page. Use it for meta tags, javascript and other items which must appear in the tags.)
- Edit Top News Insert
(This file gets included on the top of every page, just below the menu bar. It is a great place for banner ads or important board announcements.)
- Edit Rules Insert
(If you are displaying the rules, this file gets included in the rules section of the Help menu, and on the new user registration screen.)
- Edit Search Ad Insert
(This is an insert which allows you to insert an Advertisement or other HTML within the search results and recent topics/posts page.)
- Edit Closed Insert
(This message is displayed to users who are not allowed to access the forum when it is set to the closed status.)
When you've finished adding or editing your chosen inserts, click the Edit Inserts button to upload your changes.
Please note!!
The scripts on this Admin page only edits the Inserts--to actually display them in your forums, you must enable them.
Go to:
AdminCP >> Settings >> Change Settings >> General Settings
Place a checkmark next to each Insert that you want to display, then click the Update Settings button to confirm your changes.
