I'd say content is king. And with that, I would be adding articles about the various motorcycles and equipment you and your members are familiar with. This includes tracks or even particular stretches of road you have enjoyed touring. More specific content such as that will give your site more weight in the rankings.

Anyone else have some helpful tips?

I know Josh has some clues on how to get the bots to pick up your pages that they might try to avoid. Thats helped mine a lot!
