I use Photopost Classifieds with my Fusion forum and will soon add PhotoPost Pro (been testing it). The problem is, the integration with Fusion is less than 'good' and communication with the developer is, well... it could be better.

When I see all the Mods that people have created for Fusion (or Threads), I wonder why someone can't take what PhotoPost has done (not steal-just the concept) and build on it to make some really good 'modules' for Fusion? After all, FusionBB took the concept of a "forum" and created what is undoubtedly the best discussion board available. Why can't someone do the same with a Photo Gallery and Classified Module?

It would be great if they were "modules" and not hacks. That way, as Fusion is updated you wouldn't have to reapply the hack every time.

I would gladly purchase these modules or... Should we pool our money and hire a developer?

We have already started heavily discussing what will be in the next few releases of Fusion. We are not just looking at the next release any more but pretty far down the road as well.

As part of this we have discussed and are discussing if and when we will release something like this.

I can't really give any more info then that at this time. Right now we need to get 2.2 out as a stable release before we can share some of our back room planning with the rest of the community.
