Bug for: Fusion [3.0] Finished 1 -

: i have tried to mark a post as news and it won't stay on the main page.

It was someone else post - then I deleted it and created my own post and tried to mark as news but it won't stay on the main page.

Stephen,

When you say it won't stay on the main page, does it post to the main page at all? When does it disappear? I'm unable to replicate at this moment.

I am getting this same thing. I have posted news, it appears on main page, then I reply to it and it is gone from the main page.

Another thing is that the topic icon is now replaced by the user avatar for the short time that it is up there.

I also cannot edit a users post to make it as news and show up on the front page.

I have a thread that I marked as news and there have been replies and it's still showing as news on the main portal.

Update....

I can post a new topic as news and all is OK, even with replies... BUT, as soon as I edit the post it disappears from the front page.

In addition, admin cannot go in and make something front page news after it has been posted.

The avatar thing has fixed itself.

Not sure why it's not sticking when replied to, but on the other issue, not being able to mark something as news after it's been posted, that's the way it's currently designed.
