First in your forum settings you must choose the polls option for Portal Display:
The poll particle needs to be set to display on the portal.
When posting your poll tick the box to display on the portal.

OK! I did find it... IMHO the issue is you 'guys' know where EVERYTHING is. Not everyone does!! Wording is key here.

kestral, I know our documentation isn't perfect yet, but Lori has been working very dilligently on it and I expect when she's done it will most certainly include a section on polls. I just glad you figured it out.
Permissions and settings are probably the biggest stumbling block with FusionBB only because we have chosen to give the Admin much more control over the settings than many other packages do. Hang in there as things are just going to get better and better as we go along.

Absolutely, and again that's not a negative comment to Lori or anyone specifically.
And yes, the functionality choices are great...I just have to figure out how to use them

Don't worry, you'll figure them out. All of us have gone through this learning curve and I know I'd not want to use anything else on a production site. I recently converted my last production over to Fusion and once again love it.

Absolutely! But I want to do it all...yesterday My time is either feast or famine. Right now, with all the rain, I have a lot of time to work on this. Soon I won't be able to open it up
