I pretty sure if you edit the showtopic_p_row.php file in your templates folder and take out the <!--QUOTE--> it will do it but you need to back it up before hand to make sure you don't jiggy it up.
There is also a showtopic_p_row_article.php in the templates folder that you would need to modify to take it off of the articles topics also.
