let me clarify a little bit, we are an existing threads 6.5.suck/PhotoPost user... can we migrate to fusion, and leverage the new PP integration with fusion and all will be happy?
that would be so super cool if it worked that way.
okay so then Yes, Nikos wrote an integrator that will take threads 6.5 and move the files to the new Fusion installation.. thats data and users.. and then you just need to upload PP 5.1(?) and according to Omego-the-man it integrates to Fusion now
As a test I migrated all my users, posts, as much as I could (using Nikos import), from Threads 6.5 to Fusion .8 Beta.
I have since upgraded to .9 Beta.
It moved everything perfectly...a few hundred thousand posts, and 800+ users. I started culling some users and forums after that...and did have to update some settings, but yes, it worked just fine.
Once you get your Threads moved over, you would then tell PP5.1 to use FusionBB as your forums instead of Threads - and it should be seamless.

Is this a question or a fact?

I own an PP license (no more access to member area) and same for UBB.T, when I first see Fusion I was pretty happy about the included gallery feature and my hope was to see this feature grown and grown with all releases in order to avoid me to use a different software for the comunity photo album.
So, what is the plan for the integrated gallery system, do you plan to develope it to be a PP alternative or what ?
We have limited gallery functionality right now - I'm happy to see PP integration just because of so many people that currently use it... although Nikos does have some import options over at fusionbbdev.com.
We plan to expand the gallery feature in the future, but it's pretty basic for version 1.0.

The gallery will be greatly improved on in time. Expect to see this area expanded a lot this year. I always seem to be all over the place in the code but once we are stable I'll be able to pick a section and deepen it's feature set specifically before moving on to the next. I'm looking forward to giving that kind of focus coding to fusion.
Good deal. I have yet to take advantage of the gallery feature yet myself, but I will in the future ... and I do not want to have to buy other product licenses and such to do things unless necessary.

I would like to rival the more established gallery solutions at some point... with the added bonus of being completely built in and relative.
Here's a permission that will be coming into play eventually: CAN_HAVE_GALLERY (extra info for allowed storage space)
When you consider that pretty much every 'bonus' feature for users can be controlled via permissions and that an integrated mypaymentpal will allow for the admins to offer such bonus features for a fee it highlights the benefits of such tight integration.
