We have completed a basic UBB.Threads and phpBB Importer, and are working on Invision and VB as I type.

Does the importer do the job of updating usergroups or is that a separate utility as in Nikos' version?

Hi,
Will the importer only work for version 6.5.2? We are still on UBBT 6.4.1 and are having problems using Nikos' importer (the script will not go beyond step 3).
Will we need to upgrade to 6.5.2 first?
Oh, and any timeframe?
We are having some serious problems with our server at the moment and need to move to a new server ASAP. We'd like to be able to at the same time move to FusionBB.

I have a site that is running VB 3.5.3 that I'm going to use as a jumping off point/testbed for hacking up my main site which is running a hybrid version of Threads 6.5.x. The sooner I can get my hands on these converters, the better. Thanks!

I have some sites running 6.4 as well so I'm working on an importer for that version. It wont be in the 2.0 release package but I'll drop it in the members area when it's finished. Right now it's half working. lol

I just finished importing threads 6.4 into fusion 2.0
I'll be releasing 2.0 Beta 5 on Monday. It didn't take long for a bunch of bugs to show up in beta 4. Hopefully the next one wont have the same bugs. lol

I need to do a 6.4 import test board so I can actually get use to using fusion. Had to wait for mpp to get added. Glad we are finally there but now I need to get caught on on even the basics.

Yeah I took a bit longer than planned for MPP. Rather than tack it on like we had to do with threads it's built in with fusion. It makes for a much better environment all around.

What I need to do to setup a test site to get stuff where I would like it. Paid for a professional install cause I figured I would need it with that import part. support ticket? or what I need to do to get that rolling towards progress.

That's right - we were waiting on 2.0 to do your real install. I sent you a PT.
