Hi guys,
some of my users reported an issue with Firefox hanging while loading my website (www.inpiega.com).
After a quick troubleshooting we understant that this is mostly happening on posts with images and on PCs with a low quantity of RAM.
I noticed that when I open a post with images the Firefox RAM usage is huge (About 140/150MB), for istance try yourself opening this link with an eye on Taskmanager:
http://www.inpiega.com/FusionBB/showtopi...
User: testuser
Password: testpassword
If you don't notice an high RAM usage than leave that window open for a while an you will see the RAM usage to raise at a certain point.
Just to clarify, this is not happening only with that particular post but with serveral.

Wow you aren't kidding. The page takes quite awhile to load also. And it's not releasing the memory back after closing the tab.
Are you loading a lot of stuff in the background? Stylesheets and whatnot?

I'm going to check.
Anyway if I have things in background this should affect every page not only the ones with pictures.

I just checked my site with some huge pics and the usage isn't even close to what you're seeing on your site. Strange.

Really, really strange.
I opened one of those posts and RAM usage was 140MB, than I replied from the quick reply box that bring me back to the same page and RAM usage decrease about 50MB... BUT after a while (doing nothing) the RAM usage raise again at 140MB.

Did you find a solution? This morning I looked at it and it didn't spike the RAM usage on my system.

After a long time I'm still here with this same issue
Troubleshooting:
- Removed everything from inclusions
- Set original template
- Set original language
- Set Professional Skin
- Deacrivated sidebars
Still 140 MB when I look to a post in the photo album like this one:

Picture alone is fine.
I'm continuing the TS and now I discover something incredible: It's related to the Avatar of someone... If I deactivate avatars than the RAM usage is OK !!

Solved, one user was using an huge avatar.
This experience could be good for future troubleshooting: Deactivate signatures and deactivate avatars...
