An Avatar is a user picture which appears in your profile and next to all your posts.
Some people use their own picture for this while others use an image file that they like. (An avatar can be any image file.)

To add, change, or remove an avatar, go to:

My Fusion >> Your Control Panel >> Avatar Settings

There are four options available on the 'Avatar Settings' page:

  • No Avatar

  • URL to Image File (Generally used if your image resides on your own website and you aren't uploading it to the forum's servers.)

  • Upload an Image File (Used to upload your image from your computer to the website's server. Once this is done, on future visits to the 'Avatar Setting' page, the image's URL will show up in the 'URL to Image File' space.)

  • Use a Stock Avatar (Choosing this option will show you a group of general avatars available for use by all users of the site.)

Note: There is a Max Width and Max Height size limit for avatars which is defined by the site administrator. Please check to make sure that your avatar image is within these limits or smaller.

If you've decided to use an avatar and have chosen one or uploaded one of your own, you may click on the Preview Avatar button to refresh the page and view your avatar or click on the Proceed button to confirm your choice and complete the process.
